Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate an engineering team, ensuring effective use of expertise and fostering team development.
- Provide strategic direction, guiding the team through a shift to a configure-to-order business model.
- Promote collaboration within the team, focusing on delivering high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
- Build and nurture the team's capabilities, supporting professional growth and creating a cohesive working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing engineering teams, with a focus on product design and delivery.
- A strong track record of applying engineering processes and governance to product development cycles.
- Experience leading teams through complex product delivery challenges, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring timely project completion.
Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
