Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Branch/Yard Assistant to join our team in Inverurie. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing orders accurately, and assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with product and service information
  • Pick customer orders accurately
  • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
  • Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
  • Serve customers on the trade counter when required
  • Customer interaction

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
  • Literacy & Numeracy
  • A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
  • An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment

Desirable
  • Warehouse experience
  • A good knowledge of computers
  • Forklift truck licence
