Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to lead our team and oversee the food service operations at one of our prestigious B&I client contracts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Plan and organize catering events, including menu selection, logistics, and staffing.
  • Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee quality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored catering solutions.
  • Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked and in good condition.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle any issues or complaints that arise during events promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the catering or restaurant industry.
  • Strong background in food production, kitchen management, or bartending is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
