About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our progressive school in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our teaching team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality teaching and pastoral care to students in Year 6, promoting a love of learning and a sense of belonging.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students, focusing on their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor student progress, identify areas for support, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent academic outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and inclusive.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
