Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the delivery of audit and compliance services on a day-to-day basis, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
  • Manage client accounts and relationships, building strong partnerships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Budgeting and monitoring compliance fees, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Ensure procedures are followed, taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant, to maintain compliance and minimize risk.
  • Ensure department billing and recovery targets are met, contributing to the team's success.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for junior staff, sharing your expertise and knowledge to support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Relevant VAT experience gained within professional services or industry, with a strong understanding of VAT compliance and advisory services.
  • Technically capable to assist in complex client work, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exemplary organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, directors, staff, and other professionals.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience of managing small client portfolios.
  • First-rate IT skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
