Salary: £45,000.00 - £58,000.00 per year DOE

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our small team at a busy independent dealership based on Marsh Barton.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Technician to support our sales, warranty work, and service our customers' vehicles.

You will work on all makes and models of diesel and LCV vehicles, diagnosing faults and providing direction to other technicians, as well as performing basic servicing, brakes, cambelts, and other tasks.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as required
  • Welding experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on diesel and LCV vehicles
  • Provide direction and guidance to other technicians
  • Perform basic servicing, brakes, cambelts, and other tasks
  • Work on all makes and models of diesel and LCV vehicles

Requirements:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Technician who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
