Job Title: Chief Security Risk Manager

Location: UK (Hybrid working with 2 days per week required in London, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle)

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Security Risk Manager to join our team at Security Cleared Jobs. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our security risk management efforts and ensuring the protection of our information assets from internal and external threats.

The successful candidate will have expertise in combining external threat information, organizational context, and situational awareness to provide a holistic threat understanding capability. They will also be able to communicate tailored threat information to relevant senior stakeholders across multiple teams.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on large-scale operations and experience in developing approaches to effectively manage risk through the full risk lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to ensure effective security and fraud risk expertise is delivered to business managers, Senior Risk Owners, and the Working Age Services SLT within DWP.
  • Establish and manage the Working Age Services security posture and initiatives to protect information assets from internal and external threats.
  • Develop, manage, and enhance the fraud risk management framework to minimize the department's exposure to fraud risks.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • An active SC Clearance
  • Expert knowledge of leading innovation in protective security, taking into account the need to balance security requirements against service innovation.
  • CISSP or similar certification or can demonstrate equivalent skills and experience across those domains.
