About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a property consultancy in their search for a skilled Planner. As a key member of the Infrastructure Planning Team, you will work closely with colleagues to identify opportunities and develop new client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize your caseload to deliver high-quality work and service to clients.
  • Prepare initial site reviews and site-specific strategies to inform planning applications.
  • Deliver bespoke advice to clients on a range of projects, including renewable energy and infrastructure developments.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including reports and supporting documentation.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals.
  • Negotiate to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Support team members with advice, workload management, and project collaboration.
Requirements
  • Ideal candidate will be MRTPI qualified or nearing submission.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of IT and Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time and workload management skills.
