Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Change Manager to join our Finance Change team at Aviva. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive financial change and deliver new systems into our Financial Control Environment.

About the Role

This key role will ensure that financial control is factored into the finance elements of the build, working closely with the finance value stream to understand and meet finance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective user acceptance testing, developing detailed knowledge of the new platform for finance functionality, and supporting business readiness and training activities for a safe implementation into finance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure financial control is integrated into the finance elements of the build project.
  2. Collaborate with the finance value stream to understand and address finance requirements.
  3. Deliver comprehensive user acceptance testing, including billing, collections, and cash management.
  4. Develop in-depth knowledge of the new finance platform and its capabilities.
  5. Support business readiness and training activities to ensure a smooth implementation of new finance systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with Financial Control Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with general insurance data flows for finance and finance data systems (Finance Data Hub, Oracle Fusion General Ledger accounting) or healthcare data and its uses.
  • Analytical, investigative, and collaborative approach with strong stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt current skills and experience to new areas, think critically, and make recommendations.
