We're seeking a visionary leader to drive National Grid's ambition to be a best-in-sector connections provider.

As our Head of Connections Strategy, you'll create and deliver a strategy that proactively influences reform and policy development to improve 'the queue', enhance customer experience, and uncover new market opportunities.

You'll be the primary senior representative for all aspects of reform, externally known as an influential professional in this space. Your experience in connections strategy and policy from a DNO, supplier, consultancy, or developer will be invaluable.

As a senior leader, you'll be a big thinker, skilled in strategy development, and passionate about driving excellence. You'll own and run the connections SteerCo, ensuring the executive leadership group is kept up to date with connections reform and wider developments.

Your team will develop opportunities and innovation, assess risk and financial business cases, and drive improved stakeholder and customer engagement. You'll be the external advocate for connections, creating excellent stakeholder relationships at the most senior levels across the industry.
