Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Investigative Support Manager on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on complaints and conduct matters, as well as managing the administration team on a day-to-day basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting final assessments on proportionate investigations, determining the need for disciplinary proceedings or appropriate action when necessary.
  • Providing advice and guidance to Chief Officers, senior managers, departmental heads, and others on complaints and conduct matters.
  • Managing the administration team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of managing staff and developing people.
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting data, with the ability to produce reports and presentations.
  • A flexible approach to working under tight deadlines, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Access to your own transport to enable travel to meetings and events.
