Job Title: Asset Condition Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Asset Condition Surveyor to join our team at Boden Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections and analysing data to provide accurate reports on the status of assets across our estate.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, plus a car and excellent corporate benefits package. You will be required to work closely with our Head of Asset Management and other stakeholders to communicate findings and recommend appropriate actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough onsite inspections of mechanical and electrical assets to assess their condition
  • Document and record detailed observations, including any defects, damages, or areas requiring maintenance or repair
  • Collect and analyse data to determine the overall health and performance of assets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate findings and recommend actions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to asset condition assessment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified engineer in one of the BES disciplines and have a working knowledge of building services engineering in a commercial or custodial setting. You will also need to be competent in producing reports, working with large data sets, and meeting deadlines.

Flexibility is essential for this role, as you will be required to travel to sites nationally across the UK, potentially staying away from home for up to 2-3 nights a week.
