Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at Vertical Advantage. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of demand forecasts and maintaining supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecast Management: Process, analyze, and track forecasts from distribution partners and bottlers to ensure MRP and supply planning are aligned with the latest demand information.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Regularly check for slow-moving and obsolete stock, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address risks.
  • Demand Analysis: Identify and communicate significant trends and changes in demand, working to optimize inventory levels across the network.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain accurate forecast data within SAP, supporting operational plans and ensuring system reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the development and implementation of enhanced forecasting tools, demand planning software, and S&OP processes.
  • S&OP Leadership: Lead demand review meetings and support the S&OP Manager in facilitating S&OP processes, both internally and with distribution partners. Regularly publish forecasting performance metrics.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in demand planning within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with S&OP processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP APO is preferred.
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve targets.
  • A team player with a sense of urgency and responsibility, capable of performing well under pressure.
What We Offer

This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office 2 times a week and work from home 3 times per week. Salary bracket is £45,000 - £52,000 + bonus and benefits. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role.
