We are a dynamic construction company based in Cannock, seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Costs and Prepare Quantity Requirements: Accurately estimate costs for construction projects and prepare detailed quantity requirements to ensure project feasibility.
  • Monitor Budgets and Track Expenses: Continuously monitor construction budgets and track expenses to ensure cost control and adherence to project timelines.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms for our projects.
  • Review and Update Project Costs: Regularly review and update project costs as construction work progresses, ensuring accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a proven track record of cost control and financial management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and a strong understanding of project management principles, including negotiation and communication skills.
