Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality control processes within our chemical manufacturing facility in the Midlands.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in quality control and management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet regulatory standards and customer specifications, while also developing and implementing quality assurance policies.

The role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in quality control at senior level within the chemical industry, as well as previous management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 9 QC analysts and shift inspectors
  • Oversee testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Establish quality control procedures and protocols for chemical products
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and statistical analysis
  • Familiarity of testing methods used in the chemical industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Salary

An attractive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location

Dudley, West Midlands, UK (with flexibility to work from home)
