Camp Management Job

We are looking for a skilled Camp Management professional to lead our sports and activity day camps for children. As a Campsite Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality experience, ensuring children are active, having fun and learning together.

Kings Camps is a renowned organisation offering sports and activity day camps at multiple UK locations. Our programmes are designed to inspire children, promoting physical activity, social interaction and cognitive development.

About the Role

In this Campsite Leadership Position, you will oversee the daily operations of our camps, focusing on child safety and welfare. You will work closely with your team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve programme goals
  • Lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Manage venue setup, logistics and resources
  • Supervise activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment

Requirements:

  • 12 months' experience working with children and young people
  • Leadership or management experience
  • Childcare, sports or teaching related degree (or related qualification)
  • Knowledge and experience of Child Protection, Safeguarding and Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Safeguarding experience and understanding
  • Organised and able to follow policy and procedure
  • Vibrant, resilient, team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
