Protocol National Limited is seeking an exceptional Academic Professional in Health and Social Care to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to design, develop, and deliver high-quality teaching programs and assessments in the field of Health and Social Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that students engage with their modules, achieve learning outcomes, and enjoy a positive student experience.

The role involves teaching on specialist subjects, developing teaching materials, and assessing student work. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining attendance records, working with the attendance team, and updating digital registers.

In addition to teaching and assessment responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in standardization and moderation meetings, provide formative feedback to students, and mark summative assessments according to approved briefs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver teaching programs and assessments in Health and Social Care
  • Maintain attendance records and update digital registers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant subject discipline
  • Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA)
  • Sufficient breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in Health and Social Care
  • Experience of teaching, curriculum development, and quality management in HE
  • Appropriate digital skills in learning, teaching, and assessment

You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with colleagues and students, and be flexible in your approach.

This is a full-time position, and we offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
