About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Decontamination Technician to join our team at Ramsay Health Care. As a Bank Sterile Services Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of decontamination are maintained in our 24/7 operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the full decontamination cycle on re-usable medical devices to the highest standards, in line with all Ramsay policies and procedures.
- Participate fully in quality control processes, ensuring procedures and documentation are completed accurately at all times.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Decontamination Technician within a healthcare setting.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Good computer skills (MS Office package).
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Willingness to work the occasional night shift once competence is achieved.
