About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Chief Financial Officer to join our dynamic organisation at Evans Taylor. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our finance function in a highly commercial environment, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance function in a highly commercial environment, driving business growth and delivering exceptional financial performance.
  • Develop and implement digital transformation strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  • Drive improvement in financial and operational performance, including management of costs, income generation, capital spend, and growth investments.
  • Develop and implement business planning cycles to drive growth levers, ensure robust cost control, and forecasting is in place.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional financial performance.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of innovation and contribution to profit improvement in a dynamic manufacturing or outsourced manufacturing, distribution, or sourcing organisation.
  • Experience in driving performance in private or PE-backed businesses, with experience in M&A, investor relationship management, and helping take a business through an exit process.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive business growth.
  • Experience in digital transformation, with hands-on leadership of business transformation through the implementation of digital tools.
  • Brave, proactive, and resilient, with a deep understanding of finance transformation and change management.
