About the Role
HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking several permanent part-time Female Specialised Carers to provide support to clients across various regions. As a Specialised Carer, you will play a vital role in helping older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing essential and practical care to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, and light house cleaning.
- Assisting with transportation to appointments and helping with shopping.
- Administering medication and providing support with daily living activities.
Requirements
- You must be able to relate to people and be patient and solutions-focused.
- Previous experience in aged or community care is desirable, but not necessary.
- You must have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, but not required.
Benefits
- $28.70 to $31.50 per hour plus 96c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided.
- Full training is given to all our Care Workers, no experience is necessary.
- Secure employment on a 14-day perm part-time roster.
- Salary packaging - up to $15,900 tax-free.
- Fitness Passport membership.
- First Aid Certificate provided and paid for by us.
- Paid Certificate III in Aged Care training available if you want to progress.
