About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Specialist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As an Associate Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and treatment to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and admissions of new patients to the service.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
  • Support the physical health needs of patients, working closely with our GP service.
  • Ensure safe and effective prescribing practices, working closely with our Pharmacist.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, participating in quality initiatives, audits, and research.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team, under the supervision of the Consultant.

Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Experience working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Psychiatry.
  • Section 12(2) approval is desirable.
