Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Manchester is supporting a two-form entry primary school in Trafford in recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, with the potential to become permanent after an initial temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aid pupils in Reception - Year 2, including 121 support to enhance their learning development.
  • Support in the Infant Resource Provision, working with students who are non-verbal.
  • Model great English and have a nurturing personality to support this cohort.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of supporting pupils with their language skills.
  • Strong language and literacy skills.
  • Ability to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels.
  • Clear understanding of phonics.
What We Offer:
  • 8:30am-3:30pm working hours.
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract after a temporary period of work.
  • Onsite parking and good transport links.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working with SEND.
