Our client, a leading provider of electrical and renewable energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Technical Manager to lead their team in delivering high-quality solar installations and other renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage and verify the quality of electrical work by auditing, inspecting, testing, and certifying electrical systems.
  • Lead on-site surveys for complex installations and provide technical guidance to teams as needed.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified electrician with a strong background in solar PV and other renewable energy technologies.
  • Proven track record of exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, as well as experience in senior supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations, standards, and industry codes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, company van and fuel card, mobile phone allowance, and uniform provided.
