We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our team in Luton, Bedfordshire. As a key member of our finance department, you will oversee the smooth, efficient, and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Accounts Payable Function: Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Lead and Develop a Team: Mentor and support a team of five Accounts Payable Clerks, providing training and development opportunities.
- Build Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
- Process Improvement: Monitor and improve AP processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role or similar.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Competitive Salary: Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
- Flexible Working: 9 days per fortnight in the office – giving you flexibility and work-life balance.
- Performance-Related Bonus: Yearly performance-related bonus.
- Free Parking: Free on-site parking.
- No Overtime: Enjoy a 9am to 5pm working day.
