About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Approver to join our Wing Component Delivery Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading design investigations and formulating technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations
  • Ensure all Design, Airworthiness, and safety requirements are met
  • Liaise with other functions to ensure a fully integrated design solution
  • Operate as a lead design engineer and hold design approval signatory for manufacturing non-conformances (T200)
  • Act as a focal point in leading and providing guidance on technical issues and governance
  • Support technical mentoring for engineering team members
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through methods, process, and other improvements
  • Develop stakeholder relationships in the wider network to engineering
Requirements
  • Motivated and self-driven with the ability to work autonomously when required
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deliver reliably on time, cost, and quality
  • Embracing change and challenge when appropriate
  • Anticipation mindset with ability to identify risks/opportunities and manage them appropriately
  • Ability to understand and synthesise multiple complex activities
  • Currently holds Concession Design Approval (T200) or held it in the past
