About Our Company

Page Personnel Sales is proud to partner with a leading business based in the North West, who are growing on an international level. This business has over 800 employees with several sites across the UK. They now have an opportunity for a part qualified Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly management packs, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with commentaries
  • Conduct stock valuation and usage calculations
  • Generate weekly costing reports
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reporting
  • Control the nominal ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Manage cost and cash control
  • Oversee cash flow management and reporting
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Process VAT returns

The Ideal Candidate

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who prefers a hands-on and results-focused role. We are also looking for:

  • Strong management accounts experience
  • Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Stock control or stock management experience, would be advantageous
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • IT literate with strong systems knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Methodical and high attention to detail
