About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Adecco UK Limited. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase ledger, coding and posting invoices on SAGE, and resolve supplier queries
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and post receipts and payments from the cashbook
  • Assist with monthly management accounts preparation and approve purchase invoices by matching them with POs, delivery notes, etc.
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements and produce the monthly payment run
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date filing systems and provide support to the Senior Accounts Clerk and Group Finance Manager
  • Assist the Payroll Clerk and perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with SAGE 50 would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Friendly, approachable, and well-organised with the ability to adapt to different tasks on a daily basis
