Job Summary: Teaching Assistant - Autism Support

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Autism and related social and communication needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support for learning and wellbeing, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification, along with knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN. They will also need to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding principles and child protection procedures, as well as a positive and creative approach to meeting pupil needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with learning and general wellbeing.
  • Provide care and positive behaviour management as needed.
  • Work with a tailored approach to meet individual child needs.

  • By providing high-quality support to children and young people with Autism and related social and communication needs.
  • By demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
  • By working collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Salary and Benefits:
