We are seeking a highly skilled Mechnical Technologist to join our client's main site in Harrogate. As a Mechanical Technologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing your expertise in automotive systems and diagnostic techniques.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems. You will use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Technologist.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
