Warehouse Operative with Reach Truck Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team at People Solutions Group. As a Reach Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a Reach Truck to load and unload goods, as well as moving stock around the warehouse. You will also be required to perform various warehouse duties, including receiving and unpacking incoming goods, taking inventories, and organizing stock for deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving/Operating a Reach Truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided
  • Moving and transporting stock into the correct areas of the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and pallets from vehicles
  • Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required
  • Organising stock for deliveries and wrapping and securing
  • Stacking and stowing pallets away
  • Adhering to Health & Safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment
  • Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Organising stock for deliveries and reporting any stock difference to Management
  • Promoting a safe work environment and reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management
  • Clearing work area of any debris and keeping the traffic routes clear of obstructions
  • Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor

Requirements:

  • Valid Reach Fork Lift Truck Licence
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
