Concourse Concierge

You'll be working at one of our busiest stations, interacting with customers daily to provide information, assist with ticket purchases, and recommend the best routes for their journeys. Your role will involve proactively assisting customers with self-service machines, coaching them on how to use the technology, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure these machines are always in good working order.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with various technologies, including smart ticketing systems and mobile apps. You'll also be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the station concourse, which includes clearing up rubbish and ensuring everything is working as it should.

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
• Assist customers with ticket purchases and recommend the best routes for their journeys
• Proactively assist customers with self-service machines, coaching them on how to use the technology
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the station concourse

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum (pro rata) plus a regional allowance of £519 per annum (pro rata). In addition, we provide free duty and leisure travel on SWR services for employees, along with 75% discount on many other train operating companies.
