Trainee Insolvency Administrator – Coventry (Full-Time, Permanent) – Competitive Salary

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company located in Coventry.

Role Overview:

As a Trainee Insolvency Administrator, you will be trained to assist in managing insolvency cases (corporate) from inception to closure. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual looking to begin a career in insolvency. You will receive full training and support as you gain the necessary knowledge and skills to develop within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting in the day-to-day administration of insolvency cases, including bankruptcies, liquidations, administrations, MVLs and CVLs.
  2. Preparing and processing relevant documentation and reports.
  3. Communicating with creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders as required.
  4. Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Maintaining accurate case records and files.
  6. Conducting investigations into company affairs, reviewing financial records, and analysing creditor claims.
  7. Assisting with the sale of assets and the distribution of funds to creditors.
  8. Learning to use insolvency software and understanding the relevant legal framework.

Key Requirements:

  1. Academic background (a degree (or equivalent qualification) in law, business, finance, or accounting is advantageous but not essential).
  2. A keen interest in insolvency, finance, and restructuring.
  3. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  4. Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  7. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  8. A proactive approach to learning and development.
