Mental Health Advocate Coordinator

**Job Overview:**
At Response, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services to our community. As a Mental Health Advocate Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to take control of their lives and achieve their goals.
You will be responsible for leading shifts, managing incidents, and mentoring new support workers. Your excellent leadership skills and understanding of mental health principles will enable you to provide effective support and guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and delegate tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage incidents, including safeguarding and complaints, in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Mentor new support workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Respond to service queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Undertake assessments and risk management training to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals in need.
- Ensure risk is continuously assessed and managed to maintain a safe environment.
- Comply with safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable individuals.
Requirements:
- GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Understanding of mental health principles and practices.
- Excellent IT literacy skills.
What We Offer:
- An estimated annual salary of £25,000-£30,000 based on experience.
