Accountancy Practice Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Services Senior to join our team in either our Glasgow or Dumfries office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing draft financial statements, business tax computations, and VAT returns for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and companies for review by a Business Services Assistant Manager/Manager
- Complete draft business tax computations for review by a Business Services Assistant Manager/Manager
- Prepare VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments, and management accounts for clients
- Assist with the filing of financial statements and corporate tax returns
- Raise appropriate queries for the Business Services Assistant Manager/Manager
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (desirable but not essential) or qualified by experience
- Experience of working in an Accountancy capacity at an Accountancy practice
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A dedicated team player, willing to assist colleagues in the team where possible
- Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure
- Able to use initiative and have great organisation/problem-solving skills
