Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at SSE PLC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing project requirements into control system solutions that can be deployed within our transmission network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project requirements into control system solutions that can be deployed within our transmission network.
  • Lead all aspects of design, liaison, procurement, project management, and system commissioning.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to determine project scope and detailed requirements.
  • Agree project scope, costs, and expectations with stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and agree project scope, costs, and expectations to ensure all RTS/SCADA works and interfaces are managed and implemented by the various teams and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in project management, coupled with a strong background in the design and implementation of Control & SCADA systems utilizing DNP3.
  • Ability to negotiate and agree project scope, costs, and expectations to ensure all RTS/SCADA works and interfaces are managed and implemented by the various teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations with a keen focus on safety.
  • Minimum of an HNC qualification in an electrical or telecommunications-based discipline, or suitable experience in a similar role.
