Building Surveyor

Ashbrittle is seeking a skilled Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the commercial management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-end residential and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day commercial and contractual activities, ensuring maximum value for money is achieved while maintaining ethical, moral, and environmental policies.
- Procure sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit main contract valuations, including maintaining and agreeing the variation account.
- Administer sub-contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Prepare Cost Value Reconciliation Reports for review and approval.
- Attend project meetings, providing commercial and cost advice to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of commercial management and reporting duties, with keen procurement skills for subcontract and supplier purchasing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
