EMIS Group Plc has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Software Delivery Specialist to join their high-performing Portfolio Delivery function on a 9-month fixed-term contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple initiatives from initiation to BAU, with a focus on software development life cycle. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring that project work-streams are aligned to strategic business objectives and commercial priorities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing risk, issue, and change, as well as working closely with customers and third-party suppliers to build trusted relationships. They should also be able to collaborate with the LPMO function to govern effectively, report, and track progress.

This role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits. The successful candidate will be an experienced Delivery Lead with a pragmatic approach towards delivery, proven influencing and negotiation skills, and a track record in delivering full-lifecycle projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing risk, issue, and change
  • Working closely with customers and third-party suppliers
  • Collaborating with the LPMO function
  • Delivering multiple initiatives from initiation to BAU

To be successful in this role, you should have a working knowledge of project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Kanban, SAFe, Waterfall), the ability to operate with own initiative, and experience of using project reporting and/or Life Cycle Management tools.
