M&E Global Resources Ltd is a leading defence contractor providing services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors. We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team in Fairford, UK.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, combustible equipment, and related equipment items.
- Quality Control: Complete and quality check maintenance records and documentation as required.
- Installation and Operation: Repair, install, and operate refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, combustible equipment, and related equipment items. Associated with the GPMS Program.
- Analysis and Troubleshooting: Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and maintenance malfunction data to analyze malfunctions.
- Diagnostic Equipment: Use various test equipment, load banks, and other diagnostic equipment as required by technical data to operate, maintain, inspect, test, repair, and reconstitute GPMS assets.
- Preparation and Documentation: Prepare GPMS assets/equipment for air/sea/road haul shipments in accordance with Technical Orders, Manuals, Checklists, Regulations, and Unit Type Code (UTC) Configuration listings.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare and complete required documentation to include DOD, USAF Supply/Maintenance, Amentum, and associated forms. As well as updates to historical records.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment as required.
- Hazardous Materials: Inspect Hazardous Materials within the assigned work center and coordinate with the appropriate office for the disposal of HAZMAT when required.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks and duties as directed by Amentum/USAF tasking.
- Temporary Duty: May be required to assist in other departments when directed or requested to accomplish a specific task or project.
- Compliance and Safety: Conform to Amentum/USAF safety, hazardous material, and quality standards.
- Tool and Equipment Management: Ensure all tools, personal protective equipment, and clothing issued remain safe, secure, and serviceable, reporting any deficiencies.
- System Installation and Operation: Erect, construct, and operate GPMS HVAC systems and associated equipment to support real-world exercises and contingencies.
