Structural Engineer Opportunity

Advanced Resource Managers Limited is partnering with a leading Aerospace client to recruit an experienced Structural Engineer to join their Shock and Dynamics department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Principal Engineers in setting sub-system requirements to meet whole boat naval shock requirements.
  • Manage verification, validation, and qualification evidence to ensure sub-systems meet shock requirements.
  • Develop design justification documentation.
  • Assess structures and equipment subjected to naval shock load cases.
  • Provide design guidance at design reviews with respect to naval shock load cases.
  • Undertake peer review checking activities.
  • Support physical shock test activities.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Mechanical Engineering Degree (or STEM degree).
  • Knowledge of undertaking structural design calculations (i.e. bolted joints/bending moment/shear stress).
  • Understanding of material strength properties and limits (elastic and plastic properties).
