Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Join our team as a Field Service Engineer and take on a challenging role in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in Inverness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:
  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
