Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Energy Manager to lead our commercial and utility solar power plant projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of project management processes, means, and methods, as well as expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

The salary for this position is estimated at $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work activities through site Construction Managers and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to plan the design and installation of the product and related items.
  • Work closely with Construction Manager for oversight of contractors and trades.
  • Issue project progress reports and communicate proactively with team members.
  • Enforce quality control programs and manage customer audits and inspections.
  • Provide main day-to-day customer interface and point of contact.
  • Develop Project schedules for the execution of the work within the project milestones.
  • Closes out the project and turns it over to Operation and Maintenance Team.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in Project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project management processes, means, and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • 5+ years of commercial/Utility construction experience.
  • Solar PV experience on commercial or utility-scale projects is a plus.
  • PMP certificate.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
