We are seeking a highly experienced and inspirational Director of Public Fundraising and Income Generation to join our team at eRecruitSmart. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the strategic management and development of our income generation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the main public-facing fundraising activity, providing strategic leadership and tactical supervision to a growing team of Fundraisers.
- Develop a robust and diverse fundraising portfolio across several designated income strands to generate increasing levels of fundraising income year-on-year.
- Assess, develop, and implement a new donor management system.
- Maintain and develop the events department, which is the single largest income generator in our Fundraising Department.
- Report to the CEO/CFO and fellow Directors regularly on strategy and performance.
- Monthly reporting to the Trustee Board and regular ad-hoc correspondence with Trustees.
About the Rewards
In this role, you will enjoy a competitive salary of circa £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus. You will also receive 27 days annual leave per annum exclusive of Bank Holidays (increasing with length of service), car allowance, and other benefits.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in fundraising/sales/business development management, a demonstrable understanding of the charity sector and professional fundraising, and a strong track record of business planning and sales management. You will also have considerable experience and competence in planning, developing, and managing the operations of a successful Sales/Fundraising Team.

Our client is a national charity working to transform the lives of disabled children and their families, enabling them to challenge the barriers they face throughout childhood by providing practical and emotional support. They provide a state-of-the-art base for Charity therapies and an environment where ground-breaking research can be undertaken, potentially changing the way some disabilities are treated.
