Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Align Property Services in North Yorkshire. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on building pathology, design, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide building surveys and write detailed reports and schedules of condition.
  • Manage planning, building regulation, and listed building applications.
  • Coordinate deliverables and collaborate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines.
  • Visit sites to attend meetings, conduct inspections, and surveys as required.
  • Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulations.
  • Develop and implement efficient project management strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex building projects.
Requirements
  • RICS accredited Building Surveying degree.
  • Significant post-degree experience working as a Building Surveyor.
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
