Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at a market leader in high-security gates, barriers, and access control systems. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of automated security products, including sliding gates, hinged gates, barriers, blockers, bollards, and control panels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain automated security products to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty components to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Test systems to ensure correct setting and operation, and complete a nine-point force test to report any failures.
  • Accurately complete site-related reports for repairs and maintenance, and ensure jobs are completed within allocated time.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers and colleagues, and maintain compliance with company procedures, including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping, including appearance, vehicles, van stock, tools, and equipment, and display a proactive, can-do attitude and take ownership of problems.
