Role Overview

This is a permanent position based at our RCN Cardiff Gate Office with hybrid working options available. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering diverse projects using modern technologies and practices to provide world-class online experiences.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced software engineer who can work collaboratively in a supportive team environment. You'll have at least two years of experience in developing web-based solutions, with a strong understanding of C#, MVC, .NET 8, Azure, DevOps, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript.

You'll also have knowledge of cloud-native and API-first architectures, Azure, MS SQL Server, Microsoft Power Platform, Sitecore/Umbraco CMS, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Microsoft Graph. However, personal development and support will be provided where necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in developing web-based solutions using .NET platform
  • Excellent knowledge of C#, MVC, .NET 8, Azure, DevOps, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
