Maxwell Bond is seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our product and technology stack.

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in Golang, cloud computing, and microservices architecture. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions that meet the needs of our growing business.

As a Senior Golang Developer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our CTO to drive technical decisions and shape the future of our product. You will be responsible for leading the development of our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient backend systems using Golang
  • Collaborate with the CTO to drive technical decisions and shape the direction of our product
  • Lead the development of our microservices architecture
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our systems
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify and prioritize technical initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Golang
  • Proven experience in cloud computing, with a focus on GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
