Accounts Administrator / Purchase Ledger Clerk

Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire is seeking a skilled Accounts Administrator / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £27,500 per annum, 22 days annual leave, pension, free onsite parking, and the opportunity to work in a steady and close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and manage supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
  • Input purchase ledger invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Verify statements for completeness and accuracy of invoicing.
  • Communicate with suppliers and regional administrators regarding invoicing queries.
  • Assist in the production of BACS runs, checking invoices for payment.
  • Sort and distribute relevant post, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Produce Flock Costings Reports (Profit & Loss Accounts for each Breeder and Rearing Flock).
  • Provide cover for Sales Ledger during holidays or absence.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting experience and knowledge.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Own transport is essential for this role.
