Volunteer Furniture Display Specialist

Furniture Retail Volunteer Position:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a volunteer in the furniture department. This role involves assisting with the receipt, sorting, and display of donated furniture, as well as interacting with customers and providing excellent customer service.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will have basic DIY skills and be able to lift and move heavy furniture items. They will also need to be reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive, with excellent communication skills. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £9-10 per hour, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to learn new skills and enhance their CV.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the receipt, sorting, and display of donated furniture
- Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Lift and move heavy furniture items (with assistance if needed)
Requirements:
- Basic DIY skills

- Reliable and enthusiastic
- Proactive and able to work independently
Salary and Benefits:
