Job Title: Project Electrical Supervisor

As a key member of our operations team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Electrical Supervisor to join us. Your primary objective will be to carry out installation works and support maintenance activities across various sites.

You will be responsible for supervising other staff, providing technical solutions for installation requirements, and participating in our Permit to Work System. Additionally, you will be expected to diagnose electrical faults associated with reactive maintenance of the site, provide reports in relation to work and equipment, and maintain stores systems.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Installation of electrical systems and controls associated with Heating, Ventilating and general Building Services, as well as repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Electrical fault diagnosis associated with reactive maintenance of the site.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required, including completion of site records for new works carried out.
  • Store Management: To maintain stores systems.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible in approach to working hours required taking into account business hours, public access and customer completion dates.
  • Teamwork: Assist other trades as required. To undertake miscellaneous duties as instructed.
  • Cover and Support: Provide cover for other staff when on holiday or during sickness absence.
  • HSE Compliance: Comply with HASAWA and company HSE procedures.
  • Leadership and Supervision: To carry out installation and replacement works as required supervising other staff, providing material lists and technical solutions for installation requirements.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: To undertake maintenance and reactive repairs of mechanical and electrical building services and associated equipment when required.
  • PPM Schedules: To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated electrical systems when instructed.
  • Quality Assurance: To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with works.
  • Permit to Work System: Participate in Permit to Work System.
  • Cross-Site Working: To work across all Tate sites liaising with customer representatives when required organising resources to deliver works as required to meet programme and customer expectations.
  • SLAs and Objectives: Meet/exceed Service Level Agreements/Objectives as set.
  • Tate Events: Support Tate events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: City & Guilds (Electrical Installation 236) Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent, 18th Edition qualification, Test & Inspection qualified.
  • Experience: Experience with electrical maintenance including fault diagnosis and rectification, experience in electrical installation works in occupied buildings, good mechanical experience/knowledge.
  • Licensing: Driving license.
