Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Intervention Specialist to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As an English Intervention Specialist, you will be working with a 'Good' secondary school in Salford, helping students in intervention classes for English key stage 3 & 4 on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English intervention lessons to students in key stage 3 & 4
- Work closely with teachers to adapt teaching to meet the needs of students
- Help students understand difficult aspects of English
- Contribute to the development of a calm and orderly learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training
- Up-to-date Prevent Awareness training
- Up-to-date Behaviour Management & FGM training
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to process a new application
- Two professional children-related references
